Rhine monitoring station: Environmental analysis of suspended materials

Description

The dataset contains the analysis data from the binational Rhine Monitoring Station (RÜS) in Weil am Rhein (Rhein-Kilometer 171,37) since the station’s existence in 1993 from the Matrix suspended materials. The Rhine is currently being tested for 670 pollutants, 420 of them daily. The maintenance of the plant and the analysis are provided by the Office for Environment and Energy of the Canton of Basel-Stadt (AUE). Clients are the State Institute for Environment, Measurements and Nature Conservation Baden-Württemberg (LUBW) and the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU). http://www.aue.bs.ch/umweltanalytik/rheinueberwachungsstation-weil-am-rhein.html
