Number of cadastral income notification slips sent

Description

This table shows the evolution of the number of ballots sent, distinguishing between those made by an automatic process and those made manually because of an error or a complaint. Definition: A notification note is a letter sent by registered mail to an owner to notify him of his cadastral income. Since the 2021 annual report, the calculation method has been revised: Previously, the reference year was the year relating to the reporting phases for the transfer year concerned. From now on, the actual date of mailing is used as the reference year (new method of calculation). Concretely, the number of notification forms is the same but there is a delay of 8 months compared to the old calculation method (sending phases). Cadastral income (RC) notifications abroad do not follow the same rules as notifications for property in Belgium. For RCs abroad, each reporting co-owner is notified separately for each cadastral income. For RCs in Belgium, only one co-holder is notified. Declarations of real estate abroad for the purpose of establishing a CR started in 2022. This explains the high number of notifications because there is a catch-up of previously acquired goods.
