Description

Contained within the 5th Edition (1978 to 1995) of the National Atlas of Canada is a plate with 4 maps. The maps show sea ice patterns: late winter conditions and late summer conditions (showing for each ice type and frequency of occurrence), time of break-up and time of freeze-up. Maps are at 1:12 500 000.
