Description

WFS service – This is, when provided, the classification in series against third parties (CLASS_OFFI field). The accuracy of the source of the order is mentioned in the field TYPE_OFFI, in order to know whether it is the classification of the 2010 DRA or an updated classification in the framework of forest management. The forest parcel is classified by different categories (field: CLASS_OFFI) EIS, PPGM, wood production parcels, Ecological interest parcels, nature reserve parcels, user-right parcels and parcels to be defined as part of the development. Below are the main rankings defined: EIS (Ecologic Interest Series) are classified plots with the aim of protecting identified areas containing protected species and recognised heritage habitats and more generally preserving a maximum of habitats according to the distribution of the different geomorphological units. Logging and quarrying are prohibited in these plots, mining is allowed under constraints (SDOM Zone 2). The PPGM (Physical and General Protection of the Environments and Landscapes) are classified plots for the purpose of: — protect the drinking water catchment areas and the heads of the watersheds of the coves concerned; — protection of the banks of the main rivers to combat erosion; — protection of areas with steep slopes (erosion); — protection of landscapes (tourist interests); — ecological continuum to maintain the functional appearance of preserved habitats; — traditional uses by riparian communities (hunting, fishing, gathering, harvesting wood) — contribution to the network of protected areas. Logging and quarrying are prohibited, mining is allowed under constraints (SDOM Zone 2) The wood production areas are the plots where the wood is or will be exploited, Plots in Natural Reserve, Parcels in the area of user rights, The plots to be defined in the framework of forest management.
