Description
Analogue scanned aerial images that have been used for mapping and orthophotomaking in Lantmäteriet. Our analogue aerial image archive contains approximately 1.2 million aerial negatives from the late 1920s until 2006. Digitisation of this archive is ongoing, where we produce digitised aerial images by scanning the old aerial negatives. Analog aerial images from all vintages can be ordered with any image cut and resolution. The images are not digitally scanned when ordering. The images are mostly used for change analyses and the like. An aerial image is a central projection, without correction for the shape of the terrain or the turn of the camera. This means that the scale in the picture varies.
