Air ducts and cold air ducts (surfaces)
Description
With the signature cold and fresh air runoff path, the areas in which intensive cold air runoff takes place in low-exchange radiation weather conditions are highlighted. The inflow of fresh or cold air into the settlement area is essential for the thermal and air hygiene situation in Dresden.
Aerial trajectories are characterized by a low surface roughness (no tall buildings, only single standing trees), a straight or only slightly curved orientation, a certain inclination of the surface and a larger width (possibly more than 50 m).
