Nature forest reserves in Germany
Description
The map shows the proportion of the area of natural forest reserves in relation to the respective area of the federal state (m² per km²) in Germany. More detailed information can be accessed via factual information (GetFeatureInfo) and is available for the years 2013, 2016 and 2019. The data base is continuously collected by the forest research institutes of the federal states — at the same time rights holders of data — and provided by the Information Centre for Biological Diversity (IBV) of the Federal Institute for Agriculture and Food (BLE).
Operating instructions: The service contains data for different reporting years. If you do not want to display the most current available year, please add the desired year to the URL with the parameter: “V_JAHR=xxxx”, e.g. “.../naturwaldreservate?REQUEST=GetMap & SERVICE=WMS & V_JAHR=2013 &...”. If no data is available for the requested year, the current year will be issued as a substitute. This is a freely available presentation service (Web Map Service) of the Federal Institute for Agriculture and Food (BLE).
