Number of persons in need who received state-funded TPLs

Description

Aggregated data on beneficiaries of State-funded technical aids (hereinafter - TPL) - needy persons to whom TPL has been issued in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No 250 "Procedures by which the Latvian Society of the Blind and the Latvian Association of the Deaf provide social rehabilitation services and provide technical aids – tiflotechnics and surdotechnics" or No 878 "Regulations on Technical Aids". Selected persons who have the status of a needy person in force for at least one day during the reference period. The planning regions shall be determined by the local government where the person has been granted the status of a needy person. Source of data: Welfare Information System LabIS under the responsibility of the Ministry of Welfare.
