The State Office for Geology, Raw Materials and Mining (LGRB) grants public mining authorisations (concessions) for exploration (mining permits) and mining (mining permits) for geothermal heat as a mining resource within the meaning of Section 3(3) of the Federal Mining Act of 13.8.1980 (Federal Law Gazette I p. 1310).
