Nautical charts – electronic nautical chart data

Electronic nautical chart data is based on Norwegian official ENCs (Electronic Navigational Charts). These electronic nautical charts are manufactured in accordance with the International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO) standard for the exchange of digital nautical chart information, S57. The data is standardised in terms of content, structure and format.
Electronic nautical chart data can be combined with many types of data.
The Norwegian Mapping Authority continuously updates electronic nautical chart data.
