Background values of materially low-influenced soils of Schleswig-Holstein
Description
The data set “Background values of materially low-influenced soils of Schleswig-Holstein” contains the 90th percentile values of 13 evaluation classes for 12 substances or groups of substances. The evaluation classes are formed from information on the uses of arable, grassland and forest as well as soil (type of soil/trees, soil types). Data on the following substances or groups of substances are included: Arsenic, lead, cadmium, chromium, copper nickel, mercury, zinc, PAK16, benzo(a)pyrene, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB6), dioxins and furans. The maps still show regionally as typical material contents as background values. The 50s, 75s, 90s and 95 percentile values of the total data stock are used as class limits for the colour gradation. In contrast to a distribution valid for the whole Schleswig-Holstein over all uses, area-related units can be well represented in their tendency.
