KaruCover 2017 — Large-scale 2-dimensional soil occupancy in Guadeloupe
Description
KaruCover is the two-dimensional land use map reference for the Guadeloupé territory for the years 2010 and 2017. It describes the different types of space (urban, agricultural and natural) according to two dimensions (soil cover and land use) and allows the monitoring of territorial dynamics. The soil cover is a physionomical view of the land (forest, built...). Land use (or function) is an anthropogenic view (habitat, activities, etc.). The KaruCover 2017 two-dimensional land cover is the benchmark for 2017. The product meets the “OCSGE” standards of the National Geographical Information Council (CNIG).
