Island forests and hedges of western and eastern Andalusia and riparian forests of the province of Cadiz
Description
Carrying out detailed scale mapping (1:10,000) that characterizes the island-forests and hedges in Andalusia and riverside forests of the province of Cadiz. Island forests are the result of fragmentation, and subsequent isolation, of former forest formations. The hedges are even smaller and reduced to simple lines of vegetation. The destruction of the forest habitat supposes the fragmentation of the same one with more or less important losses of its original size. This content integrates the maps of Western and Eastern Andalusia into others unified for all of Andalusia. It also includes the cartography of riparian forests of the province of Cadiz, as well as the scope of the Plan for Conservation and Recovery of Isla Forests in Andalusia.
