Level

Description

Current operating levels are included in the database. Location coordinates and other subject-specific information are included, divided into federal waterway levels, base level network as well as control and control level network. For the determination of quantitative hydrological data on surface watercourses, a level network divided into sub-networks is operated in the Free State of Saxony. The levels in the basic level network are used for the continuous recording of the flow rate at water-economically important rivers. In order to consolidate these statements, observations from the control and control level network are included. This is operated for the monitoring of dams, water reservoirs and retention basins and for flood protection. It measures the amount and quality of water.
