Thermal conductivity in the bedrock (display service)
Description
Display service for the data set Thermal conductivity in bedrock (open data).
The viewing service shows the variation in thermal conductivity in Sweden's bedrock. The map surfaces are based on the bedrock map in SGU's map database Berggrund 1:50 000 – 1:250 000.
In combination with point information on calculated thermal conductivity in rock samples, see product Modal data and thermal conductivity (open data), it is possible to obtain better information on the mineral composition and calculated thermal conductivity of rocks in certain areas.
The information can be used for comprehensive planning of geothermal energy installations
