Description
The heavy rain map indicates the potential danger from flooding and documented heavy rain events. The map shows an analysis of the topographical sinks and heavy rain-related fire brigade deployment data are presented both selectively (from a scale of 1:25,000) and aggregated on the basis of block sections and road surfaces (ISU5 2021). In addition, areas are shown for which detailed heavy rain hazard maps are available based on coupled 1D channel network/2D surface runoff simulation. This information is overlaid with the low probability flood hazard map and the waterway map.
