The central sales offices of the official surveying of Germany appear jointly through the designation Geobasis-DE in their product information. Geobasis-DE conveys security and transparency, because it stands for the officiality of the data. In addition, Geobasis-DE is used as a copyright notice in the cross-border licensing of the geobase data and geobase services. This increases the recognition value of the entire brand management in the AdV.
The official 3D building models in the forms LoD1 and LoD2
In the database of the 3D building models with the “Level of Detail 1” (LoD1-DE), all above-ground buildings and structures are represented as simple blocks with flat roofs without taking into account the actual roof shapes. The data stock of the 3D building models with the “Level of Detail 2” (LoD2-DE) additionally contains standardised roof shapes according to the actual first trajectories.
