Description
Analogue and digital geological map without Cenozoic sediments in three subsheets A0. The complex of the Lusatian Anticlinal Zone and the Jizera-Karkonosze Block is one of the largest contiguous magmatic complexes in Central Europe. In recent decades, there have been extensive new developments from various sub-areas of this region, which are compiled and presented in a common map. The area shown in the map extends over 240 km E-W. Joint project of the Saxon State Office for Environment and Geology, Freiberg District, Panstwowy Instytut Geologczny Warszawa and Ceský Geologický Ústav Praha. The maps were printed in 3 language versions (German-English, Polish-English, Czech-English). The explanations are in English. In addition to the basics and literature used, they also contain the conception of the legend of the map, the state of geology in the individual regional units and the various geotectonic conceptions.
