Spawning sites of species in the spawning inventory in Poitou-Charentes
Description
This layer is an export of the GeoIF tool. It is a layer of work carried out within the framework of
the establishment of spawning inventories within the meaning of Article L.432-3 of the Environmental Code. The tool
GeoIF can be attributed to homogeneous hydrogeomorphological sections (Syrah© Cemagref — 2009) or
assimilated (BD Carthage®) the presence of spawning grounds symbolised by a point. For this inventory, two lists
species have been determined. The presence of spawning sites of the species in List 1 are said to be probabilistic: a
point on a section means that potential spawning sites are found throughout the section. For
species in List 2, the approach is deterministic: a point on a section means that spawning areas proven
are found on the entire section.
