Description
The Map Service (WMS Group) presents the spatial data from the Saarland landscape program-thematic map_species-biotopes and habitat association: The landscape program provides indications of the need for care of areas (maintenance areas) that are no longer used for agriculture. In these areas, targeted care or the initiation of a new use to keep valuable biotope types open and to maintain structural diversity is necessary. Already completely brittle and wooded fallow areas are depicted as succession areas. Succession and care areas are presented together in a shapefile. In the areas where the need for care (also mosaic-like) is given, this information is reproduced by the additional representation of a corresponding symbol. see Saarland Landscape Programme, Chapter 6.8
