Curves

Description

The Wizard’s curves target category belongs under the Road Trend dataset of the Road Target Register. The curvatures target category was in the road register under the name TL 111 curves. The curve inventory is done by recording the beginning and end points of the curve and the number of degrees (gyroscope) between them that turns. This results in the central angle of the curve and, based on the distance travelled, the computed curvature (angle/length) and radius. This radius is always larger than the real radius, because the transition arcs are not distinguished in the terrain. Since very large rays are not relevant, they are omitted in the case of a straight or radius of more than 60000 metres. The measurement is carried out centrally (separate instructions). The results are processed centrally by their own pre-system and then transferred to the road register.
