Description
The avalanche cadastre is a list of avalanche events. The registered avalanche marks reflect the level of knowledge of fallen avalanches in their largest known extent, insofar as these avalanches pose a risk to buildings, mountain railways and ski lifts as well as traffic routes, ski slopes and toboggan runs. Avalanche strokes away from endangered objects are usually not registered. The avalanche cadastre may not be used for the elimination of hazard zones without further technical assessments. Protective and installation measures carried out have no influence on the documentation of the avalanche marks in the avalanche cadastre. Maximum image size: 4096 x 4096 pixels.
