NWB - Road manager map other roads
Description
This product contains all streets of the Netherlands that are listed in the National Road File (NWB) with as road manager Other authorities, supplemented with the contact information about the road manager. The NWB Road File is a digital geographical file of all roads in the Netherlands. All roads managed by road authorities such as the national government, provinces, municipalities and water boards are included, but only insofar as they are provided with a street name or number. So also loose foot and bicycle paths and unpaved roads, if provided with a street name, are included in the NWB Roads. If a road has separate lanes, which is especially the case with national roads, these are processed as separate road sections in the file.
The NWB Roads file currently consists of almost 159,000 hectolitres and more than 1.1 million digitized road sections with a total length of
more than 160,000 kilometres (measurement January 2022). The NWB Roads file is updated monthly.
