Laser scan flight 2013 of the Regional Association of Greater Brunswick
Description
In spring 2013, a laser scan flight of the association area of the regional association Greater Brunswick was carried out. Excluded from the flight were the areas of the cities of Braunschweig and Wolfsburg.
The measurement was carried out with a required point density of 2 points per square meter. For the entire project area, an average point density of 3.5 points per m² was achieved. The height accuracy is ± 15 cm, the position accuracy is ± 40 cm.
Following the flight, the laser data was classified in soil and non-ground points in cooperation with the State Office for Geoinformation and Land Surveying of Lower Saxony (LGLN). The author and owner of the classified laser data is the LGLN. The Regional Association of Greater Brunswick, its members of the association and the local authorities are able to use the classified laser data free of charge to carry out their own non-economic tasks.
