Description
The aim of the general guideline on preparing for disruptions and special situations is to improve and enhance the development of ICT preparedness in ministries and administrative sector organisations.
Central government organisations must take into account the ICT contingency policies described in the general guidelines. The development of organisations, operations, services and systems must include the perspective of business continuity management and data security. This makes it possible to prepare for disruptions and emergencies based on the needs of cost-effective operations.
The guidelines are aimed at the management of organisations and those responsible for ICT provisioning. The management of each organisation decides and is responsible for risk management, situational awareness, ICT preparedness procedures and development, as well as the management of competence, service network and cooperation within their organisation.
