Satellite positioning service
Description
For many applications, the accuracy of 1 m to 5 m is not sufficient, which is achieved when positioning with the available satellite systems such as GPS or GLONASS.
With SAPOS - the joint project of the Working Group of Surveying Administrations of the Länder - the satellite signals received are processed and provided to the user in real time via various media with additional information to improve accuracy. For this purpose, a network of more than 260 reference stations is operated, 22 of which are in Brandenburg. The data is provided free of charge via automated procedures or by self-extraction. When using the data, the license conditions must be observed.
