Trend map of the quaternary base for Schleswig-Holstein
Description
The trend map of the quaternary base shows the depth lines of the quaternary base related to NHN. The -100 m NHN line illustrates the distribution of Pleistocene gutters. The lowest isoline is the -400 m NHN line. The map is based on evaluations of the former Schleswig-Holstein Geological Office (GLA) from 1977 and 1991 as well as information from various study and project areas. It will be updated at irregular intervals if more recent information is available. As the quality of the source data and the processing statuses vary from region to region, this map is a trend map for the national overview on a scale of 1: 200,000 and smaller.
