Roadway Characteristic with Attribute-Level Geometry (RWS)
Description
Roadways:
The following types of carriageways are shown in column OMSCHR:
- segregated carriageway
- unseparated carriageway
- exchange lane
Roadways shall be separated if there is a physical separation for traffic in two different directions. A physical separation means that main carriageways are separated by a central barrier, guide rail, etc. so that traffic moves in separate directions. In the case of non-separated carriageways, this physical separation is not present.
