DWD GeoServer WFS – Thickness wind roses of years’ hours in % from station measurements for Germany for QPR TA-Luft (VDI3782.1) – OGC API Features
Description
This is the Web Feature Server of DWD.:Based on hourly mean wind direction and wind speed, per-year strength roses (at least 5 consecutive calendar years) are created for the wind measuring stations within the rolling 10 years. In order to be able to make representative statements about the wind conditions at a station using a strength wind rose, the following conditions for data availability, continuity of the measurement location and a uniform sensor height per site were taken into account. • Data availability per month shall be at least 85 % • no wind encoder installation during the reference period • wind encoder height shall be within the height intervals of 7 m and 25 m above ground (including external barriers) • no change in encoder height during the reference period The data come from measurement stations of the DWD and legally and qualitatively equivalent partner network stations.
