National Park Drentsche Aa (Legislative Decree)
Description
This stock contains the Groningen part of the National Landscape Drentsche Aa as laid down in the Environmental Ordinance of the Province of Groningen. In this Environmental Ordinance, we have introduced rules to protect the establishment of the estates in this area. The National Landscape of Drentsche Aa is a village and road village landscape, consisting of an open stream valley with grasslands on low peat and petholes, which passes to the Hondsrug into sandy soils with lots of forests, woodwalls and wood rings. About five percent of the National Landscape Drentsche Aa is located in our province. Together with the province of Drenthe, we protect the small scale of the landscape, the freely meandering stream Drentsche Aa and the cohesion of ashes, forests, heathland and modern mining.
