The following landfill types are operated in the district of Göttingen:
Breitenberg:
Landfill for soil and construction waste, composting plant and recycling yard
Opening hours: Mo. – Fr.: 7:30 – 15:45, Sat: 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.

User regulations:
For the deposit of hazardous waste on the disposal facilities of the district of Göttingen, a disposal certificate and an accompanying document are required. Waste disposal certificates and guidelines must be prepared and sent by the waste producer in electronic form, as the electronic verification procedure is used nationwide. From 1 February 2011, a qualified electronic signature must also be used as a substitute for the handwritten signature.
