Mosquitoes (Chironomidae) in Gesäuse National Park — Final Report 2021
Description
From 2008 to 2020, chironomides were collected in the NP Gesäuse (air-kecher catches, source/flow water sampling). Only one part could be edited (high number of individuals). 151 taxa were determined. Lunz Zuckmücken has been researched for more than 80 years, but up to 56 taxa could be new records for Austria. At least one species, but probably many others, has not yet been described. A total number of species detectable for the NP groom is not yet foreseen.
