Management report 2015 Municipal wastewater Lower Saxony
Description
According to Article 16 of the EU Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (91/271/EEC), each Member State has to publish every two years a management report on the disposal of urban waste water and sewage sludge under its jurisdiction. The data shown here are compiled from a list of discharge points of all sewage treatment plants with an expansion size greater than 2 000 EW (as at 31.12.2014) with information on expansion size, load including supply and drain concentrations or freight. In addition, a spatial allocation was calculated according to the position to the water bodies of the Water Framework Directive (WFD).
