Description
The aim of the targeted attack is to capture a particular information or to interfere with the activity of a particular target. This study, prepared under VAHTI, focuses on data captures that threaten the confidentiality and integrity of information, as they are particularly difficult to detect and prevent by using the control models in place. Denial of Service attacks are left here only for cursory processing. Overloading the public service is generally not particularly difficult to detect.
The Ministry of Finance is responsible for the steering and development of information security in public administration. The Ministry has appointed the Government Information Security Management Board (VAHTI) as the body for cooperation, guidance and development in the administration of information security. Vahti’s activities support the Government and the Ministry of Finance in decision-making related to information security in the administration and in its preparation.
