Description
Description of the INSPIRE Download Service (predefined Atom): The noise index LDEN reflects the noise exposure for the whole day (24 hours) and is used for the preparation of strategic noise maps. These isophone maps represent the calculation results of the environmental noise mapping 2022 on the main roads in the Saarland. In accordance with § 4(4) of the 34. BImSchV shows the noise situation for the LDEN in the following isophone bands with a class width of 5 dB: 55 dB(A) LDEN 60 dB(A), 60 dB(A) LDEN 65 dB(A), 65 dB(A) LDEN 70 dB(A), 70 dB(A) LDEN 75 dB(A) and 75 dB(A) LDEN. The noise maps must be reviewed and, if necessary, revised every five years. The central nationwide strategic noise mapping of major roads in the Saarland was commissioned by the Saarland City and Municipal Council for the affected and responsible cities and municipalities. The Ministry of Environment, Climate, Mobility, Agriculture and Consumer Protection contributed proportionally to the costs and coordinated the mapping. - The link(s) for downloading the dataset(s) is/are dynamically generated from a metadata set
