Renumbering of roads transferred from the State to the Department — Département du Loiret — 2009
Description
This data contains the geographical layout of the national roads of local interest (RNIL) transferred to the department in 2007 with the connection between old and new numbering.
**Collection context**
In 2009, the transfer of the Loiret national roads to the Department also resulted in their change of name. RNs thus become RDs and their numbering is adapted to fit into the existing departmental network. The N20 cannot become the D20, for example, because another road already exists in the department under this number. The N20 thus becomes the D2020 and each ex RN is thus assigned an adapted number.
**Collection method**
The identification of the road network is decided by the departmental assembly.
