Shell production areas of Côtes d’Armor
Description
Contours of the shell production areas defined by the Prefectural Decree of 13/07/2012, distinguished according to their group (II and III) and their health classification (A, B,C,D).
The decree is available on the website of the Prefecture.
This classification covers areas where live shellfish are produced and areas where professional fishing activities are carried out on foot.
It distinguishes shells from group II (figging bivalves) from group III shells (non-husker bivalves).
Shellfish of Group I (gasteropods, echinoderms and tunicates) are not covered by the provisions of this Order.
NB: the group is indicated in the attribute type column.
Unless otherwise provided, the classification of these areas requires a reduction of 500 m for livestock manure applications on agricultural land in accordance with the requirements laid down in the ICPE rules or by the fourth action programme adopted pursuant to the Nitrates Directive.
In the case of holdings in classified installations, a reduction of 500 m is also required for the construction of livestock buildings and their annexes.
