Description
Waste incineration plants are fixed and operated facilities for the thermal treatment of waste. They are applied for and approved in accordance with the Federal Immission Protection Act (BImSchG). The legal requirements in Germany are contained in the 17th Ordinance on the Implementation of the Federal Immission Protection Act (Ordinance on Incineration and Co-Incineration of Wastes — 17. BImSchV) included.
