Description
Red-yellow shaded functional areas (flood areas that contribute significantly to flood run-off and whose run-off effect contributes to reducing the risk potential in the area relieved by the functioning flood run-off or in which negative effects on the run-off behaviour of the water are expected in the case of measures affecting the run-off, which could increase the damage potential) and indicate the residual risk, for example if the protection level is exceeded or increased damage effect in the event of failure of protective measures), extract from the danger zone planning of the Federal Waterworks Administration (BWV).
