The foliage moss Dicranum viride in the Gesäuse National Park
Description
Dicranum viride was found in 37 study areas from the valley floor on the Enns (525 m) to 1 145 m above sea level. It is much more common north of the Enns (focus on Tamischbachturm) while the sites south of the Enns are concentrated in the Hartelsgraben. Above 1 000 m the deciduous moss is rare, the climatic altitude is around 1 100 m. The deposits are scattered in total, only on the southern roof of the Tamischbach tower area they are common.
