Current Height file Netherlands 2 (AHN2) DSM
Description
The Current Height File Netherlands (AHN) is the digital height map for the whole of the Netherlands.
Ahn is a collaboration of the provinces, government and water boards.
The height is measured with laser altimetry: a technique in which a plane with a laser beam scans the Earth’s surface. The AHN2 was collected in the period 2007-2012. For more information on the AHN see https://ahn.nl. These WM(T)S services include the AHN raster files with a resolution of 0.5 meters.
A distinction was made between the DTM and the DSM.
The DSM is intended as a raw stock, where all points except those classified as “water” have been re-sampled into a grid based on a Squared IDW method.
