Workplace areas outside urban areas
Description
Workplace areas outside urban areas are concentrations of workplaces with a minimum of 50 employees and a maximum of 300 metres between buildings. Statistics Sweden delimits polygons for these and then calculates statistics per area based on register data. Workplace areas are an older introduction, which after the reference year 2010 has been deleted and replaced by the statistical product areas of activity.
