Sound Level Measurements (Smart Climate)
Description
As part of Smart Regio Basel’s Smart Climate project (https://smartregiobasel.ch/de/projekte/smart-climate-plug-and-sense), sound level data are measured at various locations in the Basel region with LoRa sensors. The Air Hygiene Office of both Basel, the Office for Environment and Energy of the Canton of Basel-Stadt, the Basel weather service provider meteoblue AG, IWB and Sensirion AG joined forces to test the use of cost-efficient sensors to detect the “regional microclimate”. The unvalidated sound level data (Leq) is provided here.
