Seismic subsoil class F2 (Note card)
Description
The map shows areas with the building land class (BGK) F2 specified according to the current building standard SIA 261. According to SIA 261, the BGK F2 is an area in which landslides can be triggered by earthquakes. For construction projects, the values of the underlying subsoil class shall be used for the calculation of structural standards. In addition, the risk of a potentially activable landslide must be assessed on a case-by-case basis. BGK F2 overlays the other subsoil classes (A to E). These classes are shown in the separate data set "Seismic subsurface classes A-E (note map)." In order to display the entire map of the seismic building ground class, both data sets must be obtained.
