Description

The wind erosion hazard data set shows the spatial distribution of the potential soil erosion hazard from wind on Brandenburg's agricultural land. The determination was based on DIN19706 (https://dx.doi.org/10.31030/1934215) and Funk et al. 2023 (https://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.aeolia.2023.100878) and is presented in a spatial resolution of 2x2 meters. The potential erosion hazard results from the combination of erosion of the topsoil, erosivity of the wind and protective effect of wind hazards. The hazard is indicated in six levels from 0 (no hazard) to 5 (very high hazard).
