Federal inventory of swamp sites of particular beauty and national importance (FR)
Description
By adopting the Rothenthurm Initiative on 6. In December 1987, the Swiss people gave a clear mandate to protect moors and moorlands of particular beauty and national importance. In a two-year inventory work, 229 potential bog landscapes were examined and evaluated by an expert group. 91 bog landscapes were classified as of national importance and included in the consultation version, whereas the Federal inventory ultimately contains 88 bog landscapes. The Federal Inventory forms the Annex 2 to the Ordinance and contains the exact territorial boundaries and the descriptions of the individual objects. In 2001, at the request of the canton of Vaud, the perimeters of objects 21, 99 and 416 were slightly adjusted. 2004 was in a second. Revision the object Grimsel definitely added to the inventory and adjusted 9 objects. Purpose The Ordinance on the Moorlands provides protection for the most important and beautiful moorlands
