Medium horizontal gradient of bougueranomaly UTM32 100 m
Description
Horizontal gradient of the middle bougueranomaly over a base of 4 km. This special presentation serves the survey administrations of the countries as the basis for planning for gravimetric measurements in the sense of the field instruction for terrestrial gravimetry (FA-TG, section C.4.1.1).
The up-to-dateness of the data stock (2016) corresponds to that of the quasigeoid model GCG2016.
The spatial data set is the basis for the representation of the quasigeoid in WMS severity. For this purpose, the original grid of the GCG2016 was sampled with a 100 m resolution in UTM32 projection.

Gravity system: International Gravity Standardisation Net 1971 (Morelli et al., 1974)
Normal heaviness: Geodetic Reference System 1980 (Moritz, 1964), no consideration of atmospheric influence
Level reduction: Direct calculation of normal heaviness as a function of geographical latitude and NHN height by means of ball function development up to degree 8
Bouguer plate reduction: none
Terrain correction: Spherical calculation of the complete topographic effect (excl. indirect effect of topography on gravity) up to 100 km, digital terrain model with grid width 1" (approx. 25 m), cuboid method (Forsberg, 1984) near 5', outside Tesseroid method (Grombein, 2013)
Reduction density/level: Mainland 2 670 kg/m³/Bathymetry (North Sea, Baltic Sea, Lake Constance) 1 000 kg/m³, 0 m asl. NHN (DHHN92)
Grid processing: Interpolation by collocation (Forsberg et al. 2008), grid width 30“x 45“, resampling to grid width 3.6” x 5.4”; Projection on UTM32 grid with grid width 100 m; Low pass filtering of the boguer anomalies with 4 km sliding mean, then gradient formation and scaling at base length 4 km
Intended use: Estimation of the necessary point density for geoid modelling according to the field instruction for Terrestrial Gravimetry (FA-TG) of the AdV, version 1.0, section C4.1.1 with Appendix 8
Unit: mGal/(4 km) = 10^-5 m/s-2/(4 km)
Up-to-dateness: 2016
