Description

The e-government interface Print and Export is a web service provided via the e-government basic component Geodata (GeoBAK). The print and export interface makes it possible to convert card compositions into PDF documents and graphic formats. The map compositions may include, in particular, representation services (OGC WMS) as well as geoobjects. Due to functional extensions, a separate format is used for the card compositions. The standard OGC Web Map Context (WMC) is currently not supported. The map compilations are used in the geoportal and the map viewer for personalisation as well as the link generator. The e-government interface print and export supports the generation of large format documents up to DIN A0. PDF, JPEG, PNG and GIF output formats are supported. The print function generally provides PDF documents, which, in contrast to export, represent a frame with further information as well as the guides of the WMS in addition to the map graphics. The generated PDF documents from both print and export are georeferenced PDF, so-called “geodocument” or “GeoPDF”. The GeoPDF can be visualised with a PDF viewer or loaded correctly into a corresponding geoinformation system (e.g. Q-GIS). The printing and export of the background map WebAtlasSN allows the output of a topographic map with house numbers for larger areas. These can be used as location maps in the area of BOS (fire brigade, police,...). The generated files can also be used offline without internet connection. For geodata-containing places, own printing templates can also be implemented as a performance.
