Annex III. Drinking water protected areas (INSPIRE review service)
Description
Information on the location of groundwater protection zones (WPAs) and other (attributable) information shall be provided. Watershed protection zones are depicted in vector polygons. Depending on the distance to the water site and the groundwater layer being exploited, VAZ consists of several types of buffer strips: 1, 2, 3A and 3B. Different levels of security tapes overlap each other. Attribute information assigned to water protection zones. The map covers the entire territory of Lithuania. The dataset is constantly updated due to changes in the number and status of water sites.
