Description

Information entered, created, acquired, accumulated and processed in the State Education Information System (hereinafter — the NIS) is used for the implementation of State and local government functions in the field of education, for example, for the functions laid down in Sections 14, 15 and 17 of the Education Law — to develop draft policy planning documents and regulatory enactments in the field of education, to ensure the accounting of children who have reached the mandatory age of education, to develop and implement measures to improve the quality of the education and upbringing process, coordination of the establishment, reorganisation and closure of local government educational institutions, etc. The source of the data set is the data of the VIIS by georeferencing them using the link between the data coordinates of the SLS Address Register. Data prepared for download in INSPIRE GML format.
